The main purpose
It is mainly used for medical treatment of skin diseases in chemical raw materials of vegetable lead dye plant of gold mine, preparing various lead salts (lead borate, lead stearate, etc.), antifouling coatings (chromium yellow can be made by the action of lead acetate and potassium dichromate), water quality protectors, pigment fillers, paint desiccant, fiber dyes and solvents in the process of heavy metal cyanidation.[2]
In textile industry, it is used to make tarpaulin AS waterproof raw material.In electroplating industry, it is the luminescent
agent of cyanide copper plating.The reaction of lead acetate with sodium chromate in pigment industry is the basic raw material for producing chrome yellow.Used as a reagent for determination of chromium trioxide and molybdenum trioxide in chemical analysis.
Lead acetate is also fur industry dyeing AIDS.[2]
In addition, 1g of lead acetate was dissolved in 20ml deionized water, and 5mm 30mm filter paper was dipped into lead acetate solution to form lead acetate test paper (CAS no. 301-04-2).The test paper turns black when hydrogen sulphide gas or acid solution containing sulphide is touched, and the existence of hydrogen sulphide or sulphide is verified.[2]
